== TFT Specifications ==
The MTF-T035 320x240 3.5" color TFT display from Microtips is the default TFT display supported.
Two pin compatible versions of this LCD are available: one with touchscreen (analog outputs) and one without.
The MTF-T035 is provided with a 4 white led backlight.

This kind of LCD requires an adapter board.
The small board generates the required bias voltages, integrates a white led driver and provides a standard 2.54 connector interface.
It has to be noted that only a 3.3V supply is required.

I've already realized some pieces of software and hardware with microprocessor or microcontroler such as CDP1802ACE,Z80 and 8051,68705.
I've decided to join the Armadeus project because I'd like to develop some applications with an embedded system and GNU/Linux tools.

Because I'm a newbies and try to stay open-minded, APF9328 board is really a good opportunity to learn a lot of things and knowledges about embedded system, real time applications and VHDL/verilog languages and of course, to continue to learn more and more about GNU/Linux operating system and some other pieces of software

Briefly I'd like to say that for me, APF9328 board is really a good teaching board and developing board for my future pieces of software and hardware.

For my first application, I'd like to build a little box with
* a light mail agent (POP,IMAP,SMTP)
* a light web radio

Hello!

Bonjour, moi c'est Stéphane et mes centres d'intérêts sont très axés vers l'électronique et l'informatique au sens large.

J'ai à mon actif quelques réalisations autour de microprocesseurs (CDP1802ACE,Z80) et de microcontrôleurs (68705,8051).J'ai souhaité rejoindre l'association Armadeus pour me développer quelques applications autour d'un système embarqué à base d'outils et d'applicatifs GNU/Linux.

Bien sur par esprit d'ouverture, l'APF9328 est aussi pour moi une formidable opportunité de m'initier, de me former à l'embarqué, au temps réel,au VHDL et continuer à utiliser des systèmes à base de GNU/LINUX.

En bref, l'APF9328 est pour moi un outil pédagogique et une plateforme de développement pour mes futures applications.

Je voudrais réaliser dans un premier temps, un petit boitier réunissant
* une petite application courrier(POP,IMAP,SMTP),
* une radio Internet,
* un indicateur de température

Ensuite, j'ai d'autres projets plus tournés vers la robotique et la domotique...

Bonjour, moi c'est Stéphane et mes centres d'intérêts sont très axés vers l'électronique et l'informatique au sens large.

J'ai à mon actif quelques réalisations autour de microprocesseurs (CDP1802ACE,Z80) et de microcontrôleurs (68705,8051).J'ai souhaité rejoindre l'association Armadeus pour me développer quelques applications autour d'un système embarqué à base d'outils et d'applicatifs GNU/Linux.

Bien sur par esprit d'ouverture, l'APF9328 est aussi pour moi une formidable opportunité de m'initier, de me former à l'embarqué, au temps réel,au VHDL et continuer à utiliser des systèmes à base de GNU/LINUX.

En bref, l'APF9328 est pour moi un outil pédagogique et une plateforme de développement pour mes futures applications.

Je voudrais réaliser dans un premier temps, un petit boitier multimédia réunissant
* une petite application courrier(POP,IMAP,SMTP),
* une radio Internet,
* un indicateur de température

Ensuite, j'ai d'autres projets plus tournés vers la robotique et la domotique...

On this page, you will find all the informations needed to use the FPGA loader driver.

== Module compilation & installation==
The first thing you have to do is to select the driver in the Linux configuration tool.
# cd buildroot/build_arm_nofpu/linux.2.6.xx/
Start the configuration tool:
# make menuconfig

In Device Drivers, Armadeus specific drivers select "Armadeus FPGA configuration driver".
Then, you have to start again the top make.

Once done, you will find the new driver in the /lib/modules/drivers/ of the rootfs
In the host directory armadeus/target/linux/modules/fpga_devtools you will find a script named fpgaloader.sh.

Copy this script on the target and launch it
# sh fpgaloader.sh
This will install the driver.

*Remark
The default FPGA version is the spartan3 200k.
The version can be changed when installing the module (insmod /lib/modules/drivers/fpgaloader.ko fpga_descriptor=0 for a 200K and 1 for a 400k).
These informations are given by the proc interface.

== Driver usage ==
The FPGA loader driver is usable through the standard Linux filesystem interface:
To read the available configurations, do:
# cat /proc/driver/fpga/loader
The displayed sizes correspond to the different FPGA versions supported by the board:
* 130k: spartan 200k
* 212k: spartan 400k

To upload a new firmware (here ''bramtest_top_apf.bin''), write:
# dd if=bramtest_top_apf.bin of=/dev/fpga/fpgaloader

== FPGARegs usage ==
Write to a FPGA address
* fpgareg addr value
# fpgaregs 1000 abcd
this will write 0xabcd (16bits only interface) at the FPGA internal address 0x1000

Read a FPGA address
* fpgareg addr
# fpgaregs 1000
this will read the address 0x1000
